April Bowlby was born in America. She's both an actress as well as a model. She's played Kandi in The CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actor who is best recognized for her role as Stacy Barrett in the American Legal Comedy drama/fantasy television series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi on the comedy series Two and a Half Men. The modeling industry was her first profession, then films and TV shows. She was a guest to the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and single-episode roles in several other shows, her first appearance on TV was CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. A few years later her breakout role as Kandi was on Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's role in the role of Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her fame throughout the world. She played Rita Farr/Elastigirl who was a regular on the American series Titans. The character will return in the spin-off series to The Doom Patrol television series. Bowlby was also featured in TV movies Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. Following her appearance in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut film) as well as From Prada, to Nada she debuted on the big screen in All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby moved to Manteca California in her early years and went to East Union High School. She first studied French and Ballet at Moorpark College. Then she determined to study acting. After studying drama under Ivana Chubb, she landed an important part (Kandi on Two and a Half Men) just a few months after making her Hollywood debut. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV programs such as CSI as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004's CSI: NY as Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005 Stacked in 2005 as Jasmine in 2005 as well as How I Met Your Mother in the role of Meg in 2007. Bowlby has recently played the character as Natasha as a twelve year old girl in the film All Roads Lead Home. The film, which premiered in 2007, is about a young girl losing her mother after an auto accident. Bowlby is set to play Mia the main character in The Slammin Salmon (2008). She resides Los Angeles. She is a redhead with blue eyes. The woman is single and has no children.
