Annmarie Fairweather has been the Human Resources Chief at Learning Ally since 2008. She manages our entire practices that deal with People, People Management, Talent Management, and Cultural Development. Annmarie is a seasoned Human Resources leader with 30 years of experience working in a variety of industries with leaders and teams in order to enhance the business results, especially in times of expansion and fast change by designing, coordinating, and leading a global people strategy. She has served as a thought partner helping to translate business and people strategies into enterprise-wide goals and plans for strategic planning through managing performance and organization, employee engagement, and managing change. She is passionate about learning and sees management and team building as her most valuable asset. With her experiences working for Fortune 500 and smaller companies, she has developed and mentored leaders who have demonstrated success and results. Her work helped to create cultures within organizations which encourage learning and positive changes for both individuals as well as teams. Annmarie, who is dedicated to assisting Learning Ally in its mission as well, is also able to devote her time supporting various non-profit organisations. This includes being a participant in the Castell Project Leadership Development Committee a group committed to helping women grow as leaders by providing education for members of the Hospitality Healthcare Network a professional member association located in North America with the specific goal of providing training, in networking and advocacy specifically targeted at healthcare hospitality houses and helping to support Shatterproof as a nonprofit national organization that is dedicated to stopping addiction in the United States in educating communities in helping those affected by the illness of addiction.
