Cecily Legler Strong has been a renowned American performer, comedian and a member of the cast for Saturday Night Live. Her acting career began in the theater, but she was attracted to comedy after she took an improv training course when she was nine years old. It was her initial intention to be a professional actor however, she realized her true calling is comedy. Her next step was performing in improv. Her first stage was on cruise vessels with friends from Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago as well as other improv ensembles. Strong was able to continue performing at popular events such as Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest, and Virgin Daiquiri The only female improv group. She became the news when she starred on 'Saturday Night Live.' She co-anchored the Weekend Update segment with Seth Meyers in the beginning, then along with Colin Jost. The character of Cecily from the show 'The Girls You Wouldn't Begin a Conversation with during a party" was the most reminscent scene from her show. The same year she also released her debut film the release of a short movie titled "How to sponsor an Uterus'.
